Southern Illinois Trophy Bow Hunting is located in Southern Illinois/Hamilton County. We offer archery and firearm hunting on over 2200 acres of prime managed trophy whitetail country with beautiful agricultural fields, large oak woodlots, thickets, creek bottom draws and luscious food plots designed for bow hunters. With our extensive in the region and our low hunting pressure, along with the long years of quality management, hunters chances of harvesting a trophy whitetail are outstanding. In additon to this, we continue to add more ground every year!
Southern Illinois Trophy Bowhunting have been managing for trophy whitetails for over six years now. Our average mature three and one-half year old buck will score 130” to the upper 140s and will field dress between 180 and 220 lbs. The current stats on doe to buck ratio continues to be less than three to one. We have had a kill success of over 50% and 80% of shots taken at pope and young bucks or better. We only carry a limited amount of hunters each year. This ensures each hunter the best chance to harvest a mature buck. We run all our bow hunts on separate land from our gun hunts.
We consistently harvest huge bucks! Each year we see a great number of Boone and Crockett bucks and harvest a few each year with some going over 200”. It is incredible the amount of shooter bucks our hunters will see in a few weeks time and with our ongoing management program. Combine this with the low hunting pressure and the best years are yet to come!
Our hunts are limited to five hunters in came at one time per hunt (unless other arrangements have been made). This allows us to give you that special attention you deserve during your hunt. Each morning we will have a continental-style breakfast. Our number one goal is for each hunter to be on a big deer. So if you’re looking to harvest a deer of a lifetime, Southern Illinois Trophy Bow Hunting offers that opportunity!
