Welcome to Southern Illinois Trophy Bow Hunting
Southern Illinois Trophy Bow Hunting is located in Southern Illinois in McCleansboro, IL with owned or leased properties in Hamilton, Williamson, Jefferson and Franklin Counties. We offer archery and firearm hunting on over 3000 acres of prime managed trophy whitetail country with beautiful agricultural fields, large oak woodlots, thickets, creek bottom draws and luscious food plots designed for bow hunters. Our extensive knowledge of the region, low hunting pressure, and years of quality management will give hunters a great chance of harvesting a trophy whitetail.
Southern Illinois Trophy Bowhunting has been managing for trophy whitetails since 2005. Our average mature three and one-half year old buck will score 130” to the upper 140s and will field dress between 180 and 220 lbs. We have an 80% shot opportunity on pope and young bucks during the firearm seasons and a 50% shot opportunity during archery season. We carry a limited amount of hunters each year, which ensures each hunter has the best chance to harvest a mature buck. We have a 130" minumim on all harvested bucks ($1,000 fine for bucks taken scoring less than 130").
We consistently harvest huge bucks! Each year we see a great number of Boone and Crockett bucks and harvest a few each year with some going over 200”. It is incredible the amount of shooter bucks our hunters will see in a few weeks time.
Our hunts are limited to 8 hunters per lodge (unless other arrangements have been made). This allows us to give you that special attention you deserve during your hunt. Our number one goal is for each hunter to have an opportunity to harvest their buck of a lifetime. So if you’re looking to have a great hunting experience, Southern Illinois Trophy Bow Hunting is the place for you!
